Since more people have Intel based Macs, than Macs with Blu-ray burners built in, it would be nice if maybe they prioritized on a Universal version instead...

Try telling the boomers that their ss contributions weren't for them but for their now deceased parents to live off of and that there is nothing left for them. Not a vote winner. Healthcare reform is the only way. Other nations achieve much better results in both healthcare and education with less money. Unfortunately there is also a lot of debt to be paid back which will be expensive when rates rise. More pain to come. Raise taxes and cut spending.

I see tablet as a perfect tool for photo manipulation. Adobe should really push in this direction aggressively. To create a usable, not over complicated UI, tools optimized for finger touch, and with the power of original PS.

How do you make your dock just a black strip like you did?
Running geektool. Most of the desktops you see are running it to display computer information, weather, music, etc.
I'm also using a black dock with the icons.

I am not saying that there are no young men with out the ability to make wise choices. Wise choices are the foundation to wisdom. What I am saying is that you wont know how wise they are until you look back at them years down the road (usually). So I know it is kindof a contridiction. But I'm saying that it might not seem like a mistake now, but you might view it as one later down the road.
Plus the wisdom of men ends where his hormones begins.

Can any cell phone capable of connecting to the web be used as a Bluetooth modem with an iPad that's been jail broke?

How about getting two notifications. Try telling me what the first one was? That's right, you will have no clue. Try using Android or WebOS for about 10 minutes and you will realize how obtrusive and useless notifications are in iOS.

I bought an unlocked Pixi (what a weird phrase...) as my iPhone is on its last legs and I want to wait until the iPhone 5 before upgrading. It's hard to overstate how much better the notifications are than the iOS ones.

I'm on the 450 minute plan, and I have 1770 roll over minutes. I've stuck w/the 450 plan, mostly cus almost everyone I call is on AT&T (I switched from Verizon, and saved a boatload, since it's just me on the plan). In the 4 years I've been with AT&T, I've only ever gone into my roll over minutes *twice*. They always end up expiring on me.
Text messaging & the (grandfathered unlimited) data plan are far more valuable to me.

Can you be more specific? What do you mean by the word "slight"? Old iPods have a 1-2- second gap between tracks. Is it less than a second?
The gap is very slight and doesn't seem to be consistant. When skipping ahead to the next song in the playlist, there's about a 1/10th of a second pause. When allowing one track to play straight through to the next, it seems the gap is less than half of that to almost none, but like I said it seems to vary. There's been a couple times where I could swear there was no gap or pause, but most of the time it's perceptable in some way. For albums where a musical selection spans more than one track, I would probably link them together into one audio file/track before importing to iTunes.

I haven't had that much time to spend with it just yet after it took over 2 hours to fully charge and I just dumped a couple albums to it quickly to take it to the gym for a test run. Preliminary results are very positive. The size is great... The included earbuds are nothing special and their cord is a little on the short side, which may be good or bad depending on how you want to use it.

I want to add an mp3 file into my project. It adds fine, however it stops playing after about ten seconds. Garage band shows that the whole file is still there, but it is limited to the first ten seconds.

I think 2TB drives are a great option for you. They can be had for as little as 75-80 each these days and 4 of them would give you 8TB in your file server. Not too shabby.
I myself plan to buy a couple 2TB drives soon as I am running out of space even with 3.5 TB.

educating people as an industry? Who does jobs think he is? Most of the population may be below average to his economical standards... but what the f was that? People know more than he thinks... It is simple for Apple to track anyone on a cellular network and using an iPhone... but it isn't worth the legal risk is it, if the person's' being tracked isn't worth it... but if Apple or anyone really wanted to... there is nothing to stop it with the infrastructure of iOS and cellular networks today...
What proportion of iPhone users do you think understand what a cache is? How about what cell tower triangulation is? How about the Core Location framework? Most people don't understand the finer points of how their phone works. The vast majority don't care and just want it to work and not do anything nefarious. As phones get smarter, there are only going to be more things that people don't understand - I think he makes a fair point.
