Build a vocal chamber if necessary. If you can't obtain conventional construction materials, make a three-sided chamber out of old mattresses or plywood outfitted with sound proof foam. This will isolate vocals and keep outside noise from bleeding into recorded tracks. Start with the basics. Adding equipment you don't know how to use or need will only dent your pocketbook.
Always consult with an expert or someone experienced in wiring sound equipment if you get confused. The smallest of blunders is all it takes to render expensive equipment useless.
